Our history
Since 1946, Billard engrenages has specialized in the manufacture of gears. Over the decades, Billard engrenages has evolved, mastering advanced techniques such as spiral bevel gear hobbing as early as 1967.
In 2007, Henry Billard made a strategic decision by establishing TAM Industrie, an offshore company in Tunisia. It is a production unit dedicated to digital machining operations, aimed at optimizing costs while maintaining high quality standards.
This expertise, passed on to the TAM teams, has been accompanied by significant investments in the machine park to guarantee high-quality production.
In 2015, TAM industries obtained ISO9001 certification, guaranteeing a quality process in line with current international standards.
The Sousse site is strategically located for logistics and distribution, strengthening our ability to meet our customers' requirements. Thanks to decades of know-how and innovation, we are consolidating our position as a trusted industrial partner in the field of digital machining.

Billard Engrenages and TAM Industries, owned by the Billard family, have always been trusted partners in the industrial sector.
SADEV, world leader in transmission systems for motor sports, has regularly called on Billard Engrenages for subcontracting operations. As part of their external growth and diversification project, SADEV naturally turned to Billard and TAM for their expertise in petrochemicals and textiles, as well as for their numerically controlled (NC) machine equipment.
Thanks to their ability to produce quality parts at controlled costs, SADEV saw in Billard engrenages and TAM a strategic opportunity to reinforce its production capacities and diversify its portfolio.
In 2024, SADEV signed the acquisition of these 2 companies, which led to the creation of the SADEV GROUP, encompassing SADEV Racing Transmission, Billard Engrenages, TAM Industrie and VADP. This new structure reinforces the synergies between the various entities, making SADEV GROUP the specialist in the design, manufacture and assembly of gears and transmission products meeting the most exacting requirements.
